4G Xtream is our latest, high-quality product for LTE internet reception on board (mobile communications). You receive it as a complete package with two external antennas, mounting material and cabling. Alternative antenna mounts are optionally available.
With MIMO technology and two external broadband LTE antennas, it offers a fast connection of up to 300 MBs (network dependent). It has an integrated dual-band Wi-Fi router that supports multiple connections, as well as two SIM card trays (with automatic failover if necessary) and integrated GPS (for IoT and tracking applications). There is also a NMEA 2000 interface for navigation and device data connectivity and wireless pairing. There is also a Bluetooth interface for future applications.

4G Xtream also features a NMEA 2000 interface so that NMEA 2000 navigation data can be made available to apps on smartphones, tablets, iPads and PCs.
This allows all NMEA 2000 data as well as Internet data to be sent to popular iOS and Android apps and navigation software such as Navionics, iSailor, Weather4D, SailGrib, iNavX, TimeZero, OpenCPN and more.

It will be deployed alongside our existing 4G Connect Pro as a premium product and is ideal for use on large yachts, workboats, tugs and commercial vessels where a reliable and cost-effective internet connection is required on the coast and in port. 4G Xtream has a dual-band WiFi router (2.4 and 5 GHz) for connecting mobile devices. It also offers connectivity for NMEA data, allowing apps and software to use the boat's navigation data.
For external high-performance WiFi (for accessing hotspots on land), our WiFi booster is recommended, which is connected to the WAN port. The 4G Xtream can then act as a router for this connection, allowing the user to switch from WiFi to LTE.

Configuration

The setup is very simple. You should only insert the SIM cards. 4GXtream has two SIM slots and it is possible to insert two SIM cards from two different network operators. By default, 4GXtream queries the inserted SIM card and automatically selects the APN settings from its internal database.
However, it is very important that you lock the Wi-Fi network created by your 4G Xtream with your own Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. This task only takes a few minutes.
