AIS

AIS is an automatic identification system for exchanging messages and communications between ships. It allows other ships and traffic monitoring services to know the identity, status, position and course of ships in the immediate navigation area.

AIS receivers allow you to receive data from ships in your vicinity. AIS transponders allow you to not only receive data, but also continuously transmit your ship's identity, position, speed, course and other relevant information to all other ships equipped with an AIS system within its range. We also provide numerous accessories, such as a patented lossless VHF antenna splitter that allows the VHF antenna to be used jointly for AIS and VHF signals, an AIS base station, AIS beacons, etc.
