Description

How many components do I need for a bed?

First calculate the area of the lying surface. For one square meter you need about 45 panels, about 90 springs and about 40 connectors as well as an unlocking tool. To prevent the finished ModukoFlex spring system from slipping, you need a fastening point at each corner and at a distance of approx. 50 cm. Example:

Your bed is 2 meters long and 0.75 m wide.
2 x 0.75 = 1.5 m²
Number of plates: 1.5 x 45 = 68 pieces, rounded up to full 10s = 70 plates
Number of springs: 1.5 x 90 = 135 pieces, rounded up to a full 20 = 140 springs
Number of connectors: 1.5 x 40 = 60 pieces, rounded up to a full 20 = 60 connectors
Attachment points: 4 corners + 3 x 2 on the sides every 50cm + 1 x 2 top and bottom center = 12 pieces, rounded up to a full 5 = 15 attachment points
Unlocking tool: 1 piece

Please note that more springs can be used in heavily stressed areas, such as the hips or in people with a slightly larger build. You can reorder and upgrade springs at any time or order about 25% more springs.

Access under the bed - tanks, storage space, equipment

To access under the bed, simply permanently remove the hangers and ties around the hatch. Fasten the ModuloFlex to the cover of the opening with the fastening piece and thus lift part of the ModuloFlex when opening.

Fixing - no slipping

Fix ModuloFlex at the edges with fixing pieces. A distance of approx. 50 cm is sufficient
