If your NMEA 2000 network grows beyond the 3-device limit of the NMEA 2000 Starter Kit, you can use one of the single tees to add an additional device. With male > female > female connectors, several T-pieces can be plugged together. This means they can also be connected to the 4-way T-piece included in the starter kit. The lower “Drop Cable” connector is also designed as a socket, so no pins are exposed when the Drop Cable is removed.

Digital Yacht offers you NMEA 2000 cables and connectors to expand your NMEA 2000 system to any size - up to a maximum of 50 NMEA 2000 devices.

The maximum length of a single connection cable is 6 m. The total length of all connection cables must necessarily be less than 76 m. Please note that all Digital Yacht “Drop Cables” can also be used as backbone cables. They easily connect together to create any desired length of backbone cable.

Digital Yacht uses NMEA2000 micro connectors on all cables and connectors. These are universal and compatible with common NMEA2000 products, including those from other manufacturers.
