No more wrinkles because the bed sheet is way too big for the bunk. No more questioning faces because the crew doesn''t know how to open the fitted sheets the right way round. Our exclusive yacht fitted sheets fit almost every mattress in boats and yachts. The various basic shapes are adapted to the mattresses of a yacht and have the type designations A to G.
The color-coded seams and loops show exactly in which direction the mattress of a bunk is covered. Thanks to the all-round elastic band, the yacht''s fitted sheet sheets can be opened very easily and sit wrinkle-free . They are extremely flexible and stretchable in size in both directions. This was made possible because a special and very high quality product was used to manufacture itElastane jersey was used. The loops on all four corners are unique: they can be used to hang the yacht fitted sheets on board after washing and dry them.
The yacht fitted sheets carry the seal of approval for trust in textiles according to Öko-Tex® Standard 100 * and are therefore free of harmful substances and very skin-friendly. Skipper and crew slumber gently on the soft and supple material on every yacht and boat.
Tip: Our Tortola duffel bag is ideal for storage on board boats and yachts and for transporting the yacht''s fitted sheets .

Our yacht fitted sheets consist of:
The cotton plant is an herbaceous plant from the mallow family. Basically up to 51 species are known, but only four cultivated species are used for industrial cultivation. After flowering, the cotton forms green capsules in which the seeds grow. When these are ripe, the now brown capsule bursts and the seeds become visible with their white seed hairs. The well-known cotton fiber is obtained from these trichomes. Usually these plants are perennial, but they are only used annual for the benefit of cheaper harvesting methods and higher yields. They are characterized by high tear resistance, which is even better when wet. The cotton fiber can absorb up to 65% of its own weight in water, but it does need some time to dry again. Since cotton has shown itself to be skin-friendly and with a low allergy potential, it is particularly interesting for the textile industry.
Elastane is a rubber-like chemical fiber made from polyurethane and polyethylene glycol, which combines high elasticity and high strength. The special features of elastane are the extreme elasticity (between 500% and 700%), the enormous tear length (between 8 km and 15 km), the permanent dimensional stability and the very low weight. The advantages of textiles and products made from elastane are based on this combination of properties. These are light and elastic, at the same time extremely dimensionally stable and therefore very comfortable to wear. Further strengths of the modern synthetic fiber elastane are that it shows very little moisture absorption and no static charge. The "secret" of elastane is based on the characteristics of the two chemical components that make it up: Polyurethane (ensures the cohesion of the individual fibers, i.e. the strength of the elastane) and polyethylene glycol (ensures extremely high elasticity, i.e. for the elasticity of the elastane).
Wieland Junge, the owner of Maritimia, has been sailing yachts in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the Baltic for more than 20 years. The sleeping situation on the bunks could be observed on many owner and charter boats. The yacht fitted sheet was developed in cooperation with what is probably Germany's most renowned manufacturer of fitted sheets. The robust and at the same time adapted to the needs of yachting, the fitted sheets were tested at MBS Charter in Mallorca. Years of experience in the production of fitted sheets and the skipper's knowledge of the needs of our customers shaped the development of the Maritimia Yacht fitted sheets. The MARITIMIA brand offers innovative, high-quality products at fair prices.
Can be up to max. 60 ° C.
Take care when drying in the dryer. Please select gentle drying and not the maximum temperature. The elasticity of the yacht fitted sheets decreases after many drying processes at too high temperatures.
Please do not use bleach.
